Smt. Preetha Arun
Smt. Preetha Arun was initiated into the Kalakshetra style of Bharatanatyam under the tutelage of Padmashri Kalaimamani Adyar K. Lakshman. After her Arangetram (dance debut) in 1986, she received advanced training under the tutelage of Sangeetha Kala Acharya Kalaimamani Smt. Radha - a torch-bearer of the Vazhuvoor style- a rich dance tradition.

Preetha Arun has been teaching classical Bharatanatyam for the past 20+ years in the USA & Bangalore, India. Samarpana Dance Academy located in Whitefield, Bangalore provides Bharatanatyam classes for students of all ages 5 and above.

Preetha’s dance career spans over two decades with performances in India and abroad. Preetha has performed in prestigious organizations such as The Music Academy, Kartik Fine Arts, Kapali Fine Arts, Mylapore Fine Arts Club, Narada Gana Sabha and R.R.Sabha in Chennai.
