Pyjama Costume – The lower half is a pyjama or a loose pant.
Variations are there in how the top pallu is stitched.

Skirt Costume
The lower half is stitched like a skirt. In most performances, this style is chosen for the second half of the program as there are not too many nritta (pure dance) portions. It also gives a variation to the look.

Saree Costume
The lower half is stitched like a wrap around skirt. It looks like one is wearing a saree. Many senior dancers prefer wearing this style.
